Hi I’m Carly! I have worked in the Health and Social Care sector for 18 years.
I started my career working part time within an organisation where I split my time between domiciliary care and a supported living home for people living with Learning Disabilities whilst attending college! I loved both aspects of the job and was promoted to Team Leader roles in both environments very quickly. I made the decision to leave college where I was studying towards law qualifications to pursue a career in the health and social care sector.
When I fell pregnant with my son, I decided to apply to university to complete my Nursing Degree as having worked alongside them within my role, I had a huge respect and interest nurses and the profession.
Prior to and during my course I worked for an agency where I got to experience lots of different settings such as nursing homes, hospitals, hospices, specialist brain injury rehabilitation units, secure mental health units and community outreach teams for those living with Learning Disability and Mental Health conditions.
On qualifying in 2012, I worked in a Specialist High Dependency Neurological Rehabilitation Unit. This gave me lots of new skills and experiences and I learnt to care for people requiring mechanical ventilation, tracheostomy, chest physiotherapy, cough assist, artificial feeding through various tubes, colostomy/ileostomy/urostomy, various catheters and more. Sadly, I had to leave this job due to a change in personal circumstances and took a job in respiratory medicine working on the ward and within the respiratory support unit.
Whilst doing this I wanted to keep up the skills I had learnt previously and so worked part time for a community healthcare provider coordinating and managing packages of care for individuals living at home with extremely complex needs, this involved developing very bespoke plans of care and working alongside care staff to teach them how to care for these individuals safely and to a high standard. I found I loved this role and took on a role with a healthcare provider full time.
I was then offered an opportunity to train and work as a Spinal Nurse Practitioner within the NHS and decided I would accept this role. I learnt many new skills and gained lots of knowledge in this role, alas my heart lay in the community and when the opportunity arose to work as a Deputy Manager in a very large Community Healthcare provider, I took the role. I was soon promoted to manager and tasked with improving the CQC and Local Authority ratings of the organisation by improving safety and implementing new processes to achieve the high-quality level of service the organisation strived for. I achieved both tasks in a short space of time and during the pandemic following some personal bereavements made the decision to set up my own organisation so I could take this to the next level.
I pride myself in being caring and compassionate and being able to empathise with those in my care and their relatives. I enjoy being creative and thinking outside the box to ensure clients meet their goals and receive the service they hope for.
I am approachable and always available for all to discuss their hopes, aspirations and to support people to live the lives they choose.

I am a Registered Nurse with lots of experience in not only various clinical settings, but also in training staff and managing the clinical aspects of complex care packages in the community.
After qualifying I spent several years working in a hospital environment, this was varied but mainly in general medicine and neonatal intensive care. In addition to my full time roles I also worked as a bank nurse in numerous hospital departments. In 1987, I decided it was time for a change and moved into the field of Community Nursing as a Community Staff Nurse. During the time I worked in this role I went on to complete an Advanced Diploma in Autonomous Practice.
In 2010, I decided it was time for a complete change and I made the decision to leave the NHS and joined a company which provided care in the community to individuals with complex needs. During this time, I prided myself in ensuring that the individuals receiving this care were cared for in a manner which was not only the highest possible quality, but also was extremely bespoke and that it was safe. I worked tirelessly to ensure we could get people back into their homes from hospital with a plan of care which was individualised with set goals which had been agreed by all involved and a staff team which were not only trained carers but carers who were trained to meet the individuals needs. I worked to build relationships with local hospitals and local authorities and also Marie Curie, with whom I worked very closely to provide care at home, often at short notice for clients reaching the end of their lives. In 2016, I made the decision to move over to the specialist training team for the same provider as I had a great interest in the training aspect of the role.
It was whilst working for this provider that I met Carly, I found we worked together very well as a team and our skills and knowledge complimented each other well. In 2019, when I heard Carly needed more clinical staff to work alongside her I decided to join her working for a large healthcare provider.
When Carly decided to set up Sphere Specialist Healthcare, I decided I would support her in this venture and after discussion it was decided I would support her not only with investment but working within the company as Clinical Lead.

Hi, I’m Jasmine I am a Case Manager working part time with Sphere Specialist Healthcare!
I have 15 years’ experience working as a healthcare assistant/specialist support worker with clients of all ages ranging from newborn to elderly and enjoy all equally. I have experience of working with clients with a variety of illnesses and disabilities in a range of different settings including hospitals, hospices, day centres, schools and many more. I pride myself in not only researching these conditions, but also spending time getting to know my clients as individuals to understand how these conditions affect them personally.

Throughout my career I have delivered complex care including tracheostomy management, ventilation management, artificial feeding, chest physiotherapy, colostomy care and catheter care, but enjoy all aspects of care delivery.

I have first-hand experience of medical interventions due to my daughter having a rare, complex heart condition and my eldest son being diagnosed with autism, ADHD, and ODD. I work alongside multi-disciplinary teams to put in place support plans for my son whilst undertaking the majority of my daughter’s care myself.

More recently, I have been performing the role of Case Manager and really enjoy using my care experience, both professional and personal, to work with my clients to design bespoke and individual plans of care. I understand the importance of matching the support worker and the impact care delivery can have on all of the family and work hard to ensure that I add that personal touch to the care that is delivered.

Hi, I’m Kerry I have over 27 years’ experience working within various healthcare sectors.
My journey started at 16 years old on a work experience at a nursing home, my time there ultimately showed me how rewarding working in a nursing home was and how fulfilling it was as a career choice.
There was several reasons why I chose to work in social care, and one was, the genuine interest in the welfare of others and making a difference to someone’s life. My career path then led me to working in the community as a support worker supporting clients with Autistic spectrum.
My aim was to enhance the client’s quality of life and develop sustainable behaviour strategies. The team and I focused on supporting daily living skills and emotional stability as well as positive behaviour support. I decided the time had come to progress in my role and excepted a position as a Senior mental health support worker from there my positions excelled into various other roles such as Principal Senior where I gained experience and knowledge working with various clients with complex needs and disabilities including Acquired brain injury, where I gained specialist care training.
I also worked closely in settings which included palliative end of life care, experience within a children’s secure home, also children’s unit of institute of transplantation which was very complex but hugely rewarding and many more.
Choosing a career in healthcare gave me the opportunity to make a difference in peoples lives and potential change and save lives, this made me want to expand my knowledge and learn more and progress further afield to other health care sectors which led me to my current position as a Case Manager, where my experience and knowledge covers a variety of different care needs.
I look forward in supporting our clients to live in their own homes independently and identifying suitable trained support worker to clients. I will continue to play a key role in delivering good work practice.
I look forward to inputting my strong interpersonal skills into my role and build threptic relationships quickly with clients and professionals and continue to work effectively as part of a dynamic team.

Hi I’m Cairen, I am a Trainee Case Manager with Sphere Specialist Healthcare. I have worked within the Care sector for around 7 years. I started working within the community as a Domiciliary carer, where I quickly learned my passion for care. I enjoy all aspects of care as I am passionate about helping others, particularly care within the community helping people to be cared for in their own surroundings. I have also worked alongside the North East Ambulance Service as an Ambulance Care Assistant and Student Paramedic, where I picked up more knowledge around care along the way. I strive to give the best possible care to clients and make their family and friends feel at ease. I am very mindful of the impact different complex needs can have on a person and their family and friends. I have personal experience working alongside other multi-disciplinary teams for many years as my son was diagnosed with Autism at age 11 and know the effect this had on my son and our family. I wanted to take my career to the next level by applying for the position of Trainee Case Manager, where I hope my experience will help to supply our clients with the best possible staff to deliver high quality care to fulfil the client’s needs. I believe I am approachable and am keen to build positive relationships with both staff and clients to help them understand their care and give them confidence to express themselves.
