“We had the privilege of having Carly come into our home as my late son’s named nurse, who then had a team of twelve care workers who were either trained already or were in training with myself and other carers assisting.

Carly would be coming in to observe and carry out training with the staff to make sure they were all up to date with every aspect of training.

My son was fully ventilated 24/7 who required regular tracheal suction, chest physio, position changes, medications and nebulisers to be given day and night.

Carly has changed my sons tracheostomy tube before she would sign off any staff doing this, which was my request.

So Carly was not only doing the training aspects but also the hands on clinical care too.

Carly was always very good at all tasks she undertook to help keep all the carers up to date with their training. Carly is a lovely person who takes her job seriously and enjoys everything she did.
